• Support Fortrea Consulting’s Real-world Evidence services through complex analyses of data from prospective and retrospective observational studies and secondary sources • Follow analytic plans for data presentation under the guidance of RWE biostatisticians and epidemiologists • Program analyses of real-world data from observational studies, claims, hospital administration, electronic health records, and registries • Develop analysis-ready datasets, including derivation of analytic variables, according to analytic plans • Independently develop tables, figures, and listings from analytic datasets • Create validation programs for analysis datasets and TFL results, resolve discrepancies with minimal oversight • Create and maintain programming documentation for assigned deliverables • Cross-check written deliverables against analytic results • Communicate timely status updates to biostatisticians, epidemiologists, and team members • Provide analytic programming for other data sources as needed • Follow project-relevant SOPs and identify process improvement opportunities • Provide informal guidance to Associate RWD Analysts • Participate in department meetings and share knowledge and insights • Maintain Fortrea’s standards of behavior and business ethics • Contribute to repeat business through quality analyses and deliverables • Perform other assigned duties
• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, epidemiology, or another relevant field • Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience and successful project outcomes in lieu of educational requirements • At least 3 years of health research data analysis experience • Proficiency in a relevant programming language meeting current client demand, such as SAS, R, or Python • Proficiency in SAS macro language • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel • Experience conducting analyses of observational study data • Proficiency in CDISC standards, including writing SDTM and ADaM specifications • Experience applying CDISC standards to observational study data • Analytic experience with secondary data sources such as claims, hospital administration, electronic health records, or registries • Ability to solve problems independently • Ability to follow defined processes • Strong attention to detail • Strong oral and written communication • Team player mentality • Ability to work evenings and weekends occasionally to meet project deadlines • Ability to work in an upright and/or stationary position for 6–8 hours per day • Ability to operate a variety of computer software • Ability to lift and carry objects, including luggage and laptop computers, weighing up to 15–20 lbs • Regular and consistent attendance
