📋 Description

• Prepare and process import documents, including purchase orders, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs clearance forms • Coordinate with international suppliers to obtain certificates of origin and shipping instructions • Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely dispatch • Collaborate with customs brokers or agents to facilitate customs clearance • Provide documentation, resolve discrepancies, and manage inspections when necessary • Arrange transportation of goods from ports to designated locations with freight forwarders • Track shipments and address delays or miscommunications • Update inventory records upon shipment arrivals • Maintain compliance with import regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements • Resolve customs delays, damaged goods, and documentation discrepancies • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, finance, and supply chain teams • Share shipment status, delivery schedules, and anticipated arrival times • Enter import-related data into company systems • Generate reports on import volumes, costs, and compliance metrics for management review

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field (preferred) • 2-3 years in import/export, logistics, or supply chain management • Familiarity with import/export documentation, customs regulations, tariffs, and international shipping procedures • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with logistics software or ERP systems (preferred) • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for liaising with international suppliers and internal teams
