• Own analytics and reporting supporting the Portfolio Development team, focused on SKU productivity and capital allocation across 20,000+ SKUs • Work with the CEO and Product Strategy stakeholders to understand strategic questions and build analysis and reporting • Apply conjoint analysis, multivariate regression, and other statistical methods to identify product attributes driving productivity • Provide data-driven guidance on portfolio expansion, contraction, or shifts • Control for confounders such as stock-outs, new/discontinued SKUs, and seasonality • Identify source-data inconsistencies and correct records in Snowflake • Work with upstream platform owners to improve source-data accuracy and downstream analytics • Present findings independently to technical and non-technical executive audiences • Recommend and maintain recurring analytics and reporting on SKU productivity • Use AI to explore data, automate reporting, catch errors, and increase output • Report directly to the Sr. Director of AI & Data Insights and work day-to-day with the CEO and Chief of Staff
• 2-5 years in data science, analytics, or statistics in similar SKU-driven businesses • Solid grounding in statistics or operations research, including regression, hypothesis testing, multivariate analysis, and optimization • Strong SQL and Python • Hands-on Snowflake experience, including writing back to correct or clean production data • Track record of presenting findings and challenging assumptions with senior stakeholders and executives • Independent execution and ability to set analysis priorities against business goals • SKU-level economics knowledge, including sell-through, margin, inventory position, and lifecycle stage • Treats data quality as part of the job, including root-cause investigation and direct correction • Hands-on experience applying AI/ML in a business context for task automation • Strong English communication skills and a high ownership mindset • Nice to have: Power BI or similar BI tools, margin/pricing/demand forecasting data, and retail, e-commerce, or luxury/home furnishings experience
