📋 Description

• Architect high-level enterprise data strategies and blueprints for modern data lakes, data warehouses, and data mesh implementations • Design complex enterprise data models, including conceptual, logical, and physical dimensional designs such as Star/Snowflake schemas and Data Vault • Govern enterprise data integration and ingestion standards, including master data policies, metadata repositories, and real-time streaming architectures • Define data privacy, security, and lifecycle retention policies, including row/column masking, data anonymization, and GDPR/CCPA alignment • Chair the Enterprise Data Governance Board and evaluate data pipeline designs, database schema modifications, and cross-platform data dependencies • Optimize multi-source data storage costs and query performance across cloud environments • Provide strategic leadership to data engineers and BI specialists and align data models with corporate growth objectives

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of total IT enterprise software or data management experience • 5+ years of dedicated data architecture design and implementation experience across enterprise data ecosystems • 5+ dedicated years acting as a Lead Data Architect on large-scale platforms • Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer / AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty • Strong technical mastery of advanced data modeling methodologies • Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, ETL/ELT pipeline frameworks, and data governance standards • Deep understanding of distributed computing boundaries, data latency limits, database engine internals, and enterprise master data schemas • Prior implementation background managing large-scale migrations from legacy on-premise databases to cloud-native data architectures (preferred) • Strategic consulting experience advising executive leadership on enterprise data monetization, data quality improvement, and analytics roadmaps (preferred)
