• Act as day-to-day guide, interpreter and manager of the group • Deliver high level of customer service and traveller satisfaction • Be responsible for traveller's well-being • Keep up to date on travel restrictions based on nationality • Maintain vaccination and preventive medication • Advise travellers on suitable options during the trip • Make reservations for accommodation, transportation and activities • Train new Leaders as required • Provide assistance to regional offices when requested
• Certified Egyptologist with an Egyptology Degree or a valid License of Guiding • Previous experience living, travelling, studying or working abroad required • Good command of the English language mandatory • Region specific language skills important • Excellent leadership and communication skills • Resourcefulness under unpredictable and stressful circumstances • Committed to environmentally and culturally responsible tourism • Good health and high energy level • First Aid/CPR Certification required at the start of a contract • Background in basic accounting/budgeting is an asset • Computer literacy essential (Internet, E-mail, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel)
