📋 Description

• Work closely with writers, product managers, engineers, and the User Experience (UX) team in an Agile development environment • Produce in-app assistance, help, guides, interactive training, and videos for administrators, users, and developers • Create clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for software products • Translate complex technical concepts into manuals, API documentation, user guides, installation procedures, and release notes • Work with different teams and vendors to build a strong document library for organizational teams • Review and edit deliverables

🎯 Requirements

• Proven ability to craft content for end users • Ability to quickly learn complex technologies • High standards of quality and attention to detail • Experience with XML-based authoring tools such as Oxygen • Experience with source control software such as Perforce or Git • Excellent problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple deliverables within tight deadlines • Strong team player • Familiarity with authoring tools including MadCap Flare, Adobe InDesign, Adobe FrameMaker, and Oxygen XML • Expertise in MS Word • Experience creating templates • Experience formatting documents • Experience creating consistent styles across documents • Proficiency in MS Excel • Expertise in SharePoint • Knowledge of file sharing and SharePoint collaboration strategies, including check-in/check-out files • Familiarity with creating, using, and updating style guides • Ability to collaborate with other technical writers on reviewing deliverables • 3–5 years’ experience in reviewing/editing deliverables • Familiarity with the SDLC (Software Development, Operations and Support)
