📋 Description

• Independently run infrastructure deployment and change projects from intake through hand-over to operations and formal closure • Set up projects in Jira, break them into tasks, and build realistic schedules accounting for dependencies • Identify critical paths and key risks at project kick-off • Orchestrate linked tasks across architecture, procurement, on-site installation, repair, and replacement Jira projects • Make operational decisions within project authority and escalate budget, priority, and cross-department conflicts with recommendations • Own project budget estimation, approvals, and reconciliation of planned versus actual costs • Review estimates by NRC/MRC and components including colocation, leased lines, hardware, and small parts • Brief infrastructure architects and contribute to discussions on bills of materials, rack layouts, power, and network design • Raise and track procurement requests and purchase orders • Raise and track logistics and delivery requests, including ETAs and data-centre delivery • Brief on-site installation teams, agree installation windows, and track execution quality • Manage discrepancies during equipment acceptance • Run hand-over to Server Operations and Network Operations, including documentation, configurations, monitoring onboarding, and acceptance testing • Formally close projects, obtain sign-off, and capture lessons learned • Identify and manage risks, stakeholders, responsibility boundaries, and scope changes • Maintain Jira status hygiene and report using Kanban flow metrics, including Customer Lead Time, System Lead Time, P85, and Aging WIP • Improve IPM processes and templates, including RACI, readiness checklists, documentation standards, and status criteria

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years in project management in infrastructure, data centres, telecom, or IT operations, including projects with multiple counterpart teams or vendors • Ability to run complex projects without step-by-step support • Solid understanding of server and network hardware and data centre operations, including racks, PDUs, power and cooling, basic network topology, switches, cross-connects, and IP addressing • Experience with Jira or an equivalent tracker at project-administration level, including linking tasks across projects, workflows, and fields • High degree of personal ownership and autonomy • Ability to work with ambiguity and run several projects and workstreams in parallel • English at B2 or above, sufficient for correspondence and negotiation with international partners and vendors • Strong communication skills for conveying complex technical information to technical and non-technical audiences • Nice to have: experience with Kanban, Lead Time, Throughput, and WIP metrics • Nice to have: customer-facing or multi-partner projects with formal RACI • Nice to have: infrastructure project budget estimation, including NRC/MRC, colocation, and leased lines • Nice to have: project management certification such as PMP or Kanban Management Professional • Nice to have: experience working in a distributed international team
