GermanZero is a German climate advocacy organization and non-profit that campaigns to make Germany climate-neutral by 2035. It organizes LocalZero teams and nationwide political outreach to push for laws and municipal measures, provides policy proposals and legal analyses, runs public campaigns and email actions, and mobilizes volunteers and donors to influence federal and local climate policy.

📋 Description

• Support the fundraising team in event planning, execution and follow-up • Manage invitations and communications with supporters • Research relevant topics, e.g., suitable venues or speakers • Prepare texts for outreach to caterers, speakers, etc. • Create graphics for events using Canva • Provide on-site support at events and contribute creative ideas to improve events

🎯 Requirements

• Strong interest in event management and organizing events (both online and in-person) • Confident and fast at writing texts and copy • Outgoing and communicative, comfortable approaching people • Some experience interacting with donors or a strong interest in fundraising • Team player with an independent and structured working style • Commitment to climate protection and enthusiasm for fundraising for non-profit organizations
