📋 Description

• Develop detailed project budget forecasts based on project requirements, historical data, and market trends • Monitor and control project costs by tracking expenditures and identifying deviations from approved budgets • Prepare regular budget reports and financial summaries for management decision-making • Analyze cost variances and investigate discrepancies to recommend corrective actions • Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and accounting teams to ensure budget accuracy and alignment with organizational goals • Use budgeting software and spreadsheet tools to maintain and update financial data • Maintain documentation of budgeting processes, adjustments, and approvals for audits and compliance • Integrate budgeting data with CRM systems such as Pipedrive to enhance project tracking and client management • Assist with cost estimates for new projects using industry-specific pricing models and workflows • Apply accounting principles to allocate and record project-related expenses • Improve budgeting processes through automation, standardization, and efficiency gains • Communicate budget updates, risks, and opportunities across relevant departments

🎯 Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in budgeting, cost estimating, or project accounting, preferably in construction or flooring • Proficiency in budgeting software and tools such as Excel and QuickBooks • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities • Experience using CRM software such as Pipedrive • Degree in Finance, Construction Management, Accounting, or a related field • Familiarity with flooring industry pricing and workflows • Knowledge of accounting principles • Ability to collaborate with project managers, estimators, accounting teams, and other stakeholders • Position does not involve managing a team
