âą Act as a point of contact for managers and employees in the business unit. âą Understand business objectives and support HR strategies to align with them. âą Provide HR guidance on basic HR policies and procedures. âą Assist in managing and resolving employee relations issues. âą Conduct initial investigations and escalate complex issues as needed. âą Maintain knowledge of legal requirements to reduce legal risks and ensure compliance. âą Support the implementation of performance management systems. âą Assist line managers with performance reviews and development plans. âą Help address underperformance and support setting achievable goals. âą Assist in the talent acquisition process by coordinating with the recruitment team. âą Support the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new employees. âą Help develop and implement employee retention programs. âą Identify training needs for business units and individual coaching needs. âą Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to deliver relevant training programs. âą Monitor and evaluate training programs for effectiveness. âą Provide basic guidance on compensation and benefits matters. âą Support the annual salary review and bonus processes. âą Support organizational change initiatives by providing HR expertise and guidance. âą Assist in developing change management strategies to support business objectives. âą Facilitate communication and training during periods of change.
âą 1-2 years of experience in an HR role. âą knowledge of HR practices and labour laws. âą Experience with performance management, employee relations, and talent management. âą Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. âą Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. âą Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. âą Ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and confidentiality. âą Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
