📋 Description

• Develop and standardize reference architectures for power generation, data centers, microgrids, and hybrid plants • Lead integration of inside-the-fence-line assets, including gas turbines, BESS, STATCOMs, substations, and electrical gear • Define system baselines, interface definitions, and FAT/SAT validation strategies • Partner with Grid, Gas Power, Digital, and external stakeholders to drive technical alignment • Review load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, and arc flash studies • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams • Govern system design and integration from concept through commissioning • Coordinate technical execution and ensure safety, reliability, and operational efficiency standards

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Power Systems, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering • 12–15+ years of experience in power generation, EPC projects, or transmission & distribution infrastructure • Deep knowledge of inside-the-fenceline equipment and IEEE, ANSI, IEC, NERC, and NFPA standards • Proven success leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex technical interfaces • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence executive leadership and regulatory stakeholders • Ability to travel up to 25% • Advanced degree in a relevant technical discipline preferred • Expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and requirements management tools preferred • Experience with PLC/SCADA systems, IEC 61850 architectures, and grid code compliance preferred • Deep understanding of lifecycle asset management and reliability engineering preferred
