• Develop and standardize reference architectures for power generation, data centers, microgrids, and hybrid plants • Lead integration of inside-the-fence-line assets, including gas turbines, BESS, STATCOMs, substations, and electrical gear • Define system baselines, interface definitions, and validation strategies, including FAT/SAT • Partner with internal business units and external stakeholders to drive technical alignment • Review power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, and arc flash, to ensure design integrity • Provide technical leadership to engineering teams and advance systems engineering best practices • Govern design and integration from concept through commissioning • Coordinate technical execution and ensure high standards for safety, reliability, and operational efficiency
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Power Systems, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering • 12–15+ years of experience in power generation, EPC projects, or transmission & distribution infrastructure • Deep knowledge of “inside-the-fenceline” equipment and industry standards, including IEEE, ANSI, IEC, NERC, and NFPA • Proven success leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex technical interfaces • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence executive leadership and regulatory stakeholders • Ability to travel up to 25% • Advanced degree in a relevant technical discipline preferred • Expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and requirements management tools preferred • Experience with PLC/SCADA systems, IEC 61850 architectures, and grid code compliance preferred • Deep understanding of lifecycle asset management and reliability engineering preferred
