📋 Description

• Design and document complex, distributed, highly available, and fault-tolerant system architectures on AWS, using the pillars of the AWS Well-Architected Framework. • Lead the evolution of legacy applications or monolithic architectures toward microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures. • Define architectural guidelines, standards, accelerators, and software engineering best practices for adoption across squads. • Develop strategic PoCs to validate technologies, assess technical feasibility, and address integration and performance challenges. • Analyze AWS infrastructure consumption and propose architectural optimizations to maximize performance while reducing operating costs. • Translate complex business requirements into technology roadmaps, influencing executives, Delivery Managers, and product leadership.

🎯 Requirements

• Architecture-level professional working with AWS. • Extensive and in-depth experience in AWS solution architecture, including compute, storage, networking, databases, messaging, and security services. • Strong knowledge of Design Patterns, RESTful/GraphQL APIs, microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, and asynchronous communication. • Hands-on proficiency with Kubernetes (EKS) and/or Docker. • Experience with Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation. • Ability to architect solutions using relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Amazon Aurora, as well as NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB and MongoDB. • Practical knowledge of the AWS Shared Responsibility Model, encryption, IAM, VPCs, networking, and compliance practices in regulated environments. • Active AWS Professional or Specialty certifications are a plus. • Experience with Datadog, OpenTelemetry, AWS CloudWatch, and Chaos Engineering is a plus. • Familiarity with Big Data, Lakehouse, Glue, EMR, or Amazon Bedrock is a plus.
