📋 Description

• Develop features and fixes for the ZeroLayer HTTP Router, including shard map lookup, Azure AD authentication, and correlation ID propagation. • Implement Azure Event Hubs integration in the ZeroLayer Kafka Router, using consumer groups per cell, idempotency, and event traceability. • Develop the data access layer for ZeroLayer Data with sharding across Azure SQL and Cosmos DB. • Contribute to Control Plane APIs, including shard map retrieval and tenant registration operations. • Integrate services with Azure Key Vault for secret and application credential management. • Implement and maintain unit and integration tests. • Conduct code reviews for other team members. • Write and review schema migrations using Flyway or Liquibase, integrated with the AKS deployment pipeline. • Provide effort estimates and participate in technical refinement sessions. • Implement queries and access to Azure SQL while respecting cell shard boundaries. • Implement and maintain Cosmos DB collections, following partitioning aligned with the tenant key. • Implement caching with Azure Cache for Redis to reduce latency for frequently read operations. • Work within the ArgoCD deployment workflow, from merge through production release on AKS. • Configure health checks, readiness probes, and graceful shutdown. • Build and version container images for Azure Container Registry. • Instrument services with structured logs, metrics, and correlation IDs in Datadog. • Use Datadog APM to investigate production behavior and support incident resolution.

🎯 Requirements

• Senior-level professional. • Java, Go, or Kotlin, with experience developing production services. • Azure SQL: experience with data modeling, queries, and schema migrations. • Cosmos DB: experience with collections and partitioning aligned with defined access patterns. • Azure Event Hubs or Service Bus: experience integrating as a consumer or producer. • Azure Cache for Redis: experience implementing caching in backend services. • Azure Key Vault: experience managing secrets and application credentials. • AKS: knowledge of the runtime environment, health checks, and pod lifecycle management. • ArgoCD: knowledge of application deployment workflows based on the GitOps model. • Automated testing: experience with unit and integration testing as part of the development process. • Strong problem-solving skills. • Ability and comfort working independently and managing your own time. • Interest in addressing challenging and innovative situations in the technology space.
