📋 Description

• Gather business rules and system requirements. • Specify, code and test systems using Natural, JCL, ADABAS and structured programming techniques. • Plan and execute the migration of software systems from the Natural platform to another environment. This transition may involve changing the programming language, database or software version. The primary objective is to ensure a successful migration while minimizing risks, downtime and negative impacts on systems and operations. • Collaborate with the team to ensure software delivery according to planned schedules. • Maintain development and maintenance project documentation for future reference in accordance with standards.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or a bachelor’s degree in another field with a postgraduate qualification in Information Technology. • Proven experience with Natural, JCL, ADABAS and structured programming techniques. • Proven experience in systems analysis activities, requirements elicitation and analysis, and reverse engineering of code in Natural applications; migration of Natural applications to other languages; preparation of system migration documentation; and documentation of business rules. • Experience using E-R modeling tools and lifecycle management tools.
