📋 Description

• Independently record sales invoices and revenue from B2B sales, marketplaces, and direct-to-consumer sales • Analyze marketplace-specific items such as fees, returns, and chargebacks • Perform systematic account and customer account reconciliations • Prepare monthly VAT advance returns (USt-VA) in DATEV • Prepare OSS (One-Stop Shop) reports for relevant countries • Ensure compliance with international VAT reporting requirements • Actively support accounts receivable month-end closing activities • Perform account reconciliations, accruals, and provisions • Work with DATEV, AccountOne, and CountX • Help optimize processes and integrate marketplace data sources • Collaborate with a growing Finance team to improve processes

🎯 Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a tax clerk (all genders) or an equivalent qualification in accounting • Solid experience with VAT, including VAT advance returns, OSS, and international VAT regulations • Proficiency with DATEV or comparable accounting software • An interest in e-commerce and digitalization; prior experience is not required • German language skills at C1 level • Good English skills • Structured and meticulous approach to work • Reliable and able to work independently • Curious and eager to learn • Willing to share expertise and collaborate openly with other teams • Must have the legal right to live and work in Germany
