📋 Description

• Run in-house payroll operations using the local payroll software Numbrs • Set up client-specific requirements, local legal requirements, Collective Bargaining Agreements, and pay code configurations • Manage the end-to-end payroll cycle, including gathering, calculating, inputting, and validating payroll data • Liaise with local authorities and lead paperwork, filings, and registrations for social security, tax authorities, and statutory requirements • Maintain completed documentation archives and support audits • Ensure compliance with monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings • Obtain staff documentation, calculate tax processing, and produce required reports and forms • Maintain and update employee data in the payroll database • Generate and distribute payslips • Address employee inquiries about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records • Handle exemptions and status changes • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies • Maintain confidentiality of employee pay records • Prepare payroll reports for record-keeping and managerial review • Support HR operations in the country • Act as an escalation point for clients' employees and resolve queries • Monitor HR trends and regulatory changes and communicate updates to teams • Assist with ad hoc projects

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of payroll experience in in-house processing in Netherlands is a must • Fluent in Dutch and English (strong) • Must be located in Europe • In-depth experience handling payroll directly and independently on a payroll software • Exposure to payroll processing in Portugal and Slovakia would be an advantage, but is not essential • Proficient in using computers and payroll software • Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities • Proactive and effective communicator • Detail-oriented with a capability to handle complex tasks • Self-motivated, trustworthy, and able to work independently under tight schedules • Open to flexibility and positive approach towards change
