📋 Description

• Own the architecture of HighLevel’s platform UI and the shared layer used by other product teams • Own the application shell, module federation topology, shared component library, build tooling, and organization-wide performance standards • Design failure isolation so broken or slow remotes degrade only one surface, using fallbacks, timeouts, and observability • Own deployment and versioning strategy for independent releases, including contract testing, staged rollout, and rollback • Improve load performance through code splitting, shared chunks, preloading/prefetching, and caching/CDN strategy • Improve runtime performance through long-task analysis, reactivity and re-render optimization, list virtualization, and memory-leak diagnosis • Define and instrument performance metrics including Core Web Vitals, INP, and route transition time; enforce CI budgets • Set and enforce WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility, internationalization, and cross-browser support through automated checks • Write technical proposals, review high-impact designs and code, build consensus, and mentor engineers across the organization • Lead target front-end architecture migrations using reversible steps, codemods, and adoption metrics • Lead application-shell contracts including bootstrapping, routing, auth-aware navigation, error/loading boundaries, and cross-application state • Lead module federation host/remote boundaries, shared dependencies, singleton management, and version skew • Lead shared component library and design-system implementation with safe, hard-to-misuse APIs

🎯 Requirements

• 9+ years of front-end development experience • Expert-level JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS • First-principles understanding of browser rendering/layout, event loop, network/caching, and memory • Deep production experience with a modern component framework; primarily Vue 3 and Composition API • Strong React, Angular, or Svelte experience is welcome if willing to go deep on Vue • Demonstrated architectural ownership and experience moving a real codebase between architectural states without freezing feature work • Hands-on production experience with micro-frontends or module federation, including failure modes; equivalent experience decomposing a large monolith by other means considered • Proven track record optimizing large-scale, complex web applications, with specific quantified examples • Experience with modern build tooling at scale, such as Vite, Webpack, Rspack, Turborepo, or Nx • Working knowledge of accessibility engineering, including semantics, focus/keyboard behavior, ARIA, and screen reader testing • Strong written communication for design docs, RFCs, and PR descriptions • Track record of mentoring engineers and driving change across teams without direct management • Nice to have: familiarity with Node.js, server-side rendering, and open-source contributions
