It designs and deploys worker-centered programs, tools, and policies at scale—particularly in areas like climate, health, livelihoods, gender, and workplace practices—and measures impact using causal methods and AI-driven analysis. The organization also builds coalitions, develops organizational capabilities, and advises large employers and stakeholders to integrate wellbeing into business practice.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the design, implementation, and analysis of experimental and quasi-experimental projects • Apply sophisticated econometric modeling to complex questions in development economics and industrial organization • Contribute methodological improvements to strengthen the rigor of the research portfolio • Architect automated, reproducible workflows in R and STATA for data cleaning, variable generation, and anomaly detection • Conduct technical audits and diagnostic checks on large-scale datasets • Develop structured tracking systems and real-time dashboards using Excel to monitor fieldwork progress and survey quality • Create technical outputs enabling implementation teams to make data-driven adjustments during data collection • Translate complex statistical outputs into clear, actionable insights • Support academic papers, policy briefs, and technical reports • Present findings to global stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field • Master’s degree in Economics (in progress or completed) strongly preferred • Advanced proficiency in R and STATA required • Proven track record managing large-scale longitudinal or administrative datasets • Expertise in causal inference, econometric modeling, and impact evaluation • Experience designing and analyzing RCTs and quasi-experimental studies • Experience in Industrial Organization or Development Economics valued, particularly labor markets and Colombian education/vocational systems • Familiarity with GEIH and other national information systems is a plus • Bilingual English C1 and Spanish • Ability to translate complex data into high-quality technical documentation and actionable reports • Proactive, independent researcher able to work in multidisciplinary teams • Ability to manage complex workflows under strict timelines • Commitment to methodological integrity and ethical standards, including AI use • Python and machine learning knowledge are a plus
