📋 Description

• Design experiences for Grafana Cloud’s Knowledge Graph, including the entity graph, entity catalog, and RCA workbench • Enable customers to understand and explore how their systems connect • Present complex, constantly changing information clearly without overwhelming users • Translate research and data into easy-to-digest experiences • Tailor experiences to multiple target audiences and user perspectives • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product management, technical writing, GTM, and Product Design teams • Prioritize impact while balancing business priorities, customer needs, and technical considerations • Document user needs, pain points, design directions, UX trade-offs, and detailed feature designs • Conduct research and contribute to quantitative and qualitative research initiatives • Develop product-area expertise and mentor/coaching other designers • Contribute to Product Design team initiatives and evolve ways of working

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant design experience working on B2B/enterprise software products • Experience designing tools and services for developers or other highly technical users (ideally) • Portfolio of effective designs for complex products delivered in a fast-paced environment • Experience running qualitative research in complex fields • Ability to balance business goals, product priorities, customer feedback, research insights, and technical considerations • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple locations and time zones • Attention to detail and willingness to learn a complex, technical product space • Experience working in a fully remote, fast-paced environment • Bonus: experience designing complex, data-dense interfaces • Bonus: domain knowledge in observability, cloud infrastructure, and/or database monitoring • Bonus: experience helping design teams level up their practice and impact • Provide an example of a well-curated UI that simplifies decision-making in a complex area
