📋 Description

• Work embedded in the client's environment from discovery through architecture, build, production, and handover • Build production agentic AI systems for enterprise clients across healthcare, financial services, retail, and global logistics • Design multi-agent orchestration, tool and function calling, retrieval, planning and routing, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, state and checkpointing, guardrails, and failure recovery • Build ingestion and enrichment pipelines for messy structured and unstructured data, documents, PDFs, and object storage • Establish evaluation datasets, automate grading, and track groundedness, faithfulness, and retrieval quality • Optimize model selection, routing, prompts, context budgets, caching, cost, and latency • Deliver observability, tracing, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring, security, and compliance review • Collaborate with client architects, DevOps, QA, and engineers in small delivery teams • Pair with client engineers and transfer knowledge through working monitoring and documentation • Depending on seniority, lead workstreams or delivery teams, contribute to pre-sales and estimation, mentor FDEs, and support interviewing

🎯 Requirements

• Strong Python, including async, typing, testing, and packaging • Working competence in TypeScript / Node is a plus • Hands-on production experience with frontier models, prompt and context engineering, structured outputs, tool and function calling, streaming, and token/context-window management • Experience building and shipping multi-agent or agentic workflows, planner/router patterns, supervisor and sub-agent designs, ReAct-style loops, state and checkpointing, retries, interrupts, and human-in-the-loop review gates • Experience with at least one of Anthropic Agent SDK, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or an equivalent orchestration framework • Knowledge of chunking, embeddings, hybrid and semantic search, re-ranking, citation and provenance, and natural-language-to-query translation • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or equivalent, plus SQL; ability to design schemas for agent retrieval • Experience building ingestion and enrichment pipelines over structured and unstructured sources, documents, PDFs, and object storage • Experience building evaluation harnesses and datasets, LLM-as-judge systems, regression tests, and use-case-specific metrics • Production delivery on AWS including Bedrock, Azure, or GCP; containers, serverless, networking basics, secrets management, and IAM • Git, code review, testing, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, Terraform or equivalent, observability • Clear written communication in English • FDE mid: 3+ years software engineering and 1+ year hands-on LLM/agentic work, with at least one production system • Senior FDE: 5+ years engineering and 2+ years AI or agentic AI, plus end-to-end architecture ownership of a production agent system • Lead FDE: 7+ years, leadership of delivery teams of 3–7 people, engagement tech-lead capability, pre-sales and estimation, and mentoring experience • Client-facing exposure and ability to work with client architects and business stakeholders • Occasional travel and comfort working across time zones • Strong advantage: Anthropic certification, Anthropic Agent SDK production experience, MCP, Claude Code, LLM observability, regulated-environment delivery, graph/taxonomy knowledge representation, Kafka/streaming, Databricks, voice/multimodal agents, FinOps, open-source contribution, or FDE/solutions architect/delivery consultant experience
