• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for cables and cable components • Strategically manage national and international suppliers • Select, evaluate, and develop manufacturers and supplier partners • Negotiate and manage framework agreements and commercial terms • Conduct market, cost, and benchmark analyses for cables and cable systems • Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Construction, Quality Management, and Logistics • Identify and implement cost optimisation, standardisation, and product-group improvements • Prepare procurement metrics, supplier evaluations, and decision-making criteria • Act as key procurement contact for selected projects • Support successful delivery of national and international solar projects
• A degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration or a comparable subject • Several years’ experience in strategic procurement within the cable product group, ideally in PV, energy infrastructure or EPC projects • Sound technical understanding of cables, technical specifications, standards, certifications, and manufacturing processes • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills • Strategic, analytical, and structured approach to work • Understanding of cost and market-price factors • Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration with technical and commercial stakeholders • Responsible, proactive, and solution-oriented approach • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office • Very good command of English • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally • Knowledge of German would be an advantage
