📋 Description

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for cables and cable components • Strategically manage national and international suppliers • Select, evaluate and develop manufacturers and supplier partners • Negotiate and manage framework agreements and terms and conditions • Ensure quality, cost efficiency, delivery performance, technical compliance and security of supply • Conduct market, cost and benchmark analyses for cables and cable systems • Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Construction, Quality Management and Logistics • Identify and implement cost optimisation, standardisation and product-group improvements • Analyse and prepare procurement metrics, supplier evaluations and decision-making criteria • Act as Lead Buyer and key procurement contact within selected projects • Support successful delivery of national and international solar EPC projects

🎯 Requirements

• A degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration or a comparable subject • Several years’ experience in strategic procurement within the cable product group, ideally in the context of PV, energy infrastructure or EPC projects • A sound technical understanding of cables, technical specifications, standards, certifications and relevant manufacturing processes • Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills • A strategic, analytical and structured approach to work • Good understanding of factors relevant to costs and market prices • Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration with technical and commercial stakeholders • Responsible, proactive and solution-oriented approach to work • Proficiency in using ERP systems and MS Office • Very good command of English • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally • Knowledge of German would be an advantage
