📋 Description

• Create innovative, thought-provoking, and highly leveraged must-have research content • Develop new research and ideas through thought leadership and offer compelling, actionable approaches to client needs • Develop in-depth analysis to identify root causes of client barriers and reframe thinking to drive strategy forward • Establish research positions across a team of analysts • Bring independent insights to Gartner leaders to evolve research agendas • Research, analyze, and predict market trends and shifts • Provide clients and prospects with actionable advice through virtual or face-to-face interactions • Create and deliver presentation materials for Gartner events, industry and professional association conferences, and client briefings • Provide sales support and serve as the voice of the market • Conduct timely, high-quality peer reviews of research content • Build credibility as an industry expert representing Gartner research, methodology, and strategy • Participate in innovation, ideation, and research discussions • Collaborate with peers in the research community • Identify research process improvements and develop new processes • Mentor and coach junior team members • Encourage clients to engage regularly with Gartner research and interactions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred • 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience • Extensive experience working with CIOs and technology executives at federal, state, and local government organizations, preferably in Australia • Subject matter expertise in AI regulatory environment, value realization, governance, cybersecurity and defensibility, cost optimization, and operating models • Deep knowledge of the government technology market, procurement best practices, and brokering technology provider-government partnerships • Executive presence and ability to establish credibility with Board and C-level executives • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines • Excellence in research and writing • Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills • Ability to engage clients, diagnose key problems, and deliver actionable advice • Proficiency in analyzing and synthesizing data and applying patterns and frameworks • Ability to explain complex concepts concisely and simply • Comfortable presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements • Strong business and financial acumen • Knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within the subject area • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams in a multicultural global team • Learning agility and ability to navigate highly matrixed environments • Ability to represent Gartner's research methodology and strategies effectively at all levels • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%, where applicable
