📋 Description

• Assist with the month-end reconciliation cycle across multiple entities and currencies • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for bank, AR, AP, accruals, prepayments, GST, and intercompany accounts • Identify, investigate, document, and resolve reconciling items • Post general ledger journals backed by working papers • Perform variance analysis • Assist with external audits, mid-year reviews, and statutory compliance requests • Review and process employee expense claims and corporate card transactions • Reconcile monthly corporate card statements and verify GST and receipt documentation • Administer the expense management system, including user setup, deactivation, permissions, and user support • Identify recurring expense policy exceptions and recommend workflow or policy improvements • Assist with quarterly BAS workpapers and GST reconciliations • Assist with coding tax-related journals • Prepare schedules and data extracts for tax returns, provisions, advisor queries, and ATO requests

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting • 1–3 years in a finance-operations role • Ideally experience in a multi-entity or multi-currency environment • Working knowledge of a mid-market ERP/accounting system • Strong Excel/Sheets skills, including lookups, pivots, and reconciliations • High attention to detail • CA or CPA part-qualified preferred • Exposure to SaaS preferred • Experience with a cloud ERP/accounting system preferred • Healthcare, medical device, or regulated-industry experience preferred
