📋 Description

• Manage and maintain fixed asset and lease schedules. • Ensure accuracy and updates of long-lived tangible assets master data. • Perform account reconciliations and collaborate with internal partners. • Execute close cycle activities, including preparing and posting journal entries. • Maintain and update the lease tool with accurate lease agreement records; track renewals, terminations, and modifications. • Handle accounting for acquisition, capitalization, and depreciation of fixed assets in accordance with technical accounting standards, including ASC 350 and ASC 985. • Update fixed asset master data within SAP. • Conduct impairment analyses and prepare fixed asset roll forwards. • Perform and review financial close activities. • Conduct account reconciliations and collect supporting documentation. • Carry out variance analyses to identify discrepancies and ensure financial integrity. • Prepare and post manual journal entries using Blackline and SAP. • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. • Support internal and external audits and prepare audit documentation. • Own in-scope SOX controls, including remediation plans. • Coordinate activities with third-party accountants and review their work. • Act as a point of contact for external accounting professionals, provide mentorship, and resolve issues.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA ore equialent) is preferred. • Minimum 2 years accounting experience (public company and/or public accounting experience preferred). • Proficient in Microsoft Excel. • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), along with a solid understanding of accounting principles, concepts and practices. • Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, creative problem-solve and contribute efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced team environment. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment. • Organized and detail oriented. • Strong problem-solving skills. • Experience with SAP and/or Blackline is preferred.
