📋 Description

• Design and own the overall cloud architecture, including infrastructure topology, account/subscription structure, networking and governance models • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, resilient and secure cloud architectures • Define and enforce security best practices for identity and access management, network segmentation, encryption and data protection • Establish cost governance practices with the FinOps Manager to monitor, forecast and optimize cloud spend • Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code and automation practices • Partner with engineering, operations, software development and security teams to align infrastructure decisions with product and business goals • Support Software R&D and Software development teams in building robust and scalable SaaS and PaaS solutions • Define architecture standards, conduct design reviews and ensure consistency across teams and projects • Guide and mentor engineers on cloud architecture principles and best practices • Evaluate new cloud services, tools and industry trends to improve technical capabilities • Contribute to disaster recovery planning, high-availability design and incident response processes

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering or a related senior technical role • Proven track record designing and implementing large-scale, enterprise-grade cloud solutions • Primary experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platforms; AWS experience is beneficial • Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including IAM, encryption, network security and zero-trust architecture • Familiarity with relevant compliance frameworks such as GDPR, ISO 27001 and SOC 2 • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation and Bicep/ARM • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes • Scripting/programming skills in Python, Go or similar • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines • Solid understanding of networking concepts including VPNs, VPCs/VNets, load balancing and DNS • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Experience mentoring and guiding engineering teams • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Fluent in English at business level
