📋 Description

• Own lease accounting under ASC 842, including classification, ROU asset and liability schedules, modifications, remeasurements, and related disclosures • Support 409A valuation processes by coordinating with valuation providers, preparing supporting data, and reviewing draft reports • Prepare and record stock-based compensation entries under ASC 718 and maintain equity-related schedules • Manage month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and close checklists • Prepare technical accounting memos and audit-ready documentation for complex transactions • Serve as primary contact for external auditors on lease and equity accounting areas • Assist with US GAAP financial statement preparation and disclosures • Report to US-based finance leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in US GAAP environments • Direct, demonstrable ASC 842 experience; implementation or ongoing compliance, not theoretical • Exposure to 409A valuations and/or ASC 718 stock-based compensation accounting • Public accounting background at a Big Four or large regional firm, or experience at a US company or startup • Advanced English (C1+) • Strong Excel skills • Proficiency in a major ERP such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks • Prior remote work experience • Fluency with remote collaboration tools and platforms such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar • Ideally, experience working with US- or UK-based companies • Significant overlap with US business hours preferred • Experience supporting audits end-to-end preferred • Prior startup or fast-growing-company experience preferred • Ability to complete a required video interview during the application process
