📋 Description

• Own accurate financial data entry, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for recurring reporting cycles • Support a timely and well-controlled month-end close process • Maintain complete financial records and documentation that are ready for review or audit • Manage or support accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and on time • Reconcile financial activity across e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, payment processors, and accounting systems • Assist with tax filings, regulatory compliance, audits, and requests for supporting documentation • Partner with the Finance Director to streamline accounting processes and strengthen internal controls • Analyze financial data, investigate discrepancies, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders • Support ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, and strategic initiatives as business needs evolve

🎯 Requirements

• **Must-Have:** • At least 3 years of experience in financial accounting, reporting, or financial analysis • Hands-on experience supporting e-commerce or retail businesses, including platforms such as Shopify or Amazon • Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or a comparable platform • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills, including the ability to organize, reconcile, and analyze complex financial data • Strong knowledge of reconciliations, financial documentation, and month-end accounting processes • High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing deadlines accurately • Clear written and verbal English communication skills for effective remote collaboration • **Nice to Have:** • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Experience supporting tax filings, compliance reviews, or external audits • Experience improving accounting workflows or implementing stronger financial controls • Familiarity with e-commerce payment processors, inventory accounting, or multi-channel revenue reconciliation
