📋 Description

• Build out and operate prep-center routing logic for purchase orders, considering vendor ship-from location, cost, speed, and capacity. • Manage communication and file uploads with four prep centers, including shipping plans, packing/prep instructions, box content files, and follow-ups. • Coordinate inbound shipments from vendors across the country and ensure accurate documentation. • Communicate with freight brokers to arrange, track, and troubleshoot shipments between vendors and prep centers. • Communicate with key suppliers, including Soccer Zone and GMA Sales, on order logistics, ship-from details, and timing. • Own and improve freight invoice reconciliation by auditing carrier-billed amounts against quoted rates and flagging discrepancies. • Automate and streamline workflows, remove manual steps, and document repeatable processes. • Partner with the founder to integrate existing infrastructure into a unified routing-and-reconciliation system and operate it daily.

🎯 Requirements

• Senior-level supply chain, logistics, or e-commerce operations experience. • Ability to design systems and execute operational workflows. • Hands-on experience with prep centers, 3PLs, freight brokers, or inbound logistics; Amazon FBA experience strongly preferred. • AI-first approach and experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude. • Proficiency with spreadsheets/Google Sheets. • Ideally, experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n, Zapier, or similar. • Strong written English and confident, professional communication. • Highly organized with close attention to documentation, file accuracy, and numerical reconciliation. • Self-directed and reliable in an asynchronous remote environment. • Ability to systematize manual or repetitive processes. • Nice to have: Amazon Seller Central/FBA shipment creation experience. • Nice to have: Familiarity with multi-channel fulfillment, TikTok Shop, Temu, Shein, Rithum, or ChannelAdvisor. • Nice to have: Ability to read/write simple scripts, work with APIs, or build dashboards. • Nice to have: Experience reconciling carrier/freight invoices at volume. • Must agree to Lago’s Confidentiality and Non-Circumvention Agreement as part of the recruitment process.
