📋 Description

• Develop and implement comprehensive IT procurement strategies aligned with Hitachi's global objectives and digital transformation initiatives • Lead end-to-end procurement for enterprise software, cloud services, hardware, telecommunications, and IT professional services • Conduct market analysis, supplier identification, and due diligence • Negotiate complex contracts, terms, and conditions with IT vendors • Manage supplier relationships, performance, and compliance • Collaborate with IT, legal, finance, and business stakeholders • Identify and implement cost-saving, demand-management, and process-efficiency opportunities • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements • Monitor IT market trends, emerging technologies, and supplier landscapes • Manage and mentor procurement professionals, if applicable, and foster continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in IT procurement • Strong focus on strategic sourcing and vendor management within a large, complex organization • Expertise in negotiating high-value, complex IT contracts for software, cloud services, hardware, and IT services • In-depth knowledge of IT market dynamics, key suppliers, and emerging technologies • Ability to develop and execute procurement strategies delivering significant cost savings and business value • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills • Experience with e-procurement systems such as SAP Ariba or Coupa • Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools • Fluency in English • Master's degree preferred • Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, ISM) is a plus • Proficiency in Japanese is a significant advantage
