📋 Description

• Own the health and reliability of data pipelines, identifying issues and implementing durable solutions • Design, develop, test, and optimize scalable dimensional data models and data marts using dbt • Structure data models around abstract business definitions • Help architect the data environment for AI-readiness • Evaluate and implement tooling and validation processes for dbt models and AI-enabled data workflows • Partner with Product and Technology teams on application and system changes and data dependencies • Translate business stakeholder analytical needs into scalable analytics-platform solutions • Develop domain expertise and serve as technical point of contact for data models, metrics, and workflows • Establish monitoring, testing, documentation, and data-quality practices • Improve data architecture and recommend practical solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, business intelligence, or a similar data-focused role • Advanced proficiency in SQL and dimensional data modeling • Experience designing scalable analytical datasets • Hands-on experience building and maintaining production data models and semantic layers using dbt • Experience owning or supporting data ingestion and transformation pipelines, including diagnosing failures and improving pipeline reliability • Experience designing data architecture balancing scalability, maintainability, usability, and business needs • Experience with AWS or a comparable cloud data environment • Experience with modern BI and analytics tools such as Looker, Hex, Tableau, or equivalent platforms • Working knowledge of Python and orchestration tools such as Airflow • Understanding of data governance principles, including metric definitions, data quality, documentation, lineage, and access • Familiarity with modern AI/LLM applications and AI-enabled data tooling • Ability to translate business concepts and definitions into clear, maintainable technical models • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to independently investigate ambiguous or complex data issues • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Candidates must be based in Latin America • Not eligible for U.S. visa sponsorship or relocation
