📋 Description

• Build a product that improves users’ lives • Design, build, and maintain reliable, performant, and maintainable software systems • Take ownership of features or components from design through deployment • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to translate product goals into technical solutions • Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and design sessions • Troubleshoot complex issues across the stack and implement robust fixes • Help shape technical standards and best practices • Grow technical expertise and mentor more junior engineers • Explore and apply emerging technologies, including AI • Join a senior squad focused on cross-cutting search concerns and collaborate with Product Platform, IAM, DevOps, and SRE teams • Shape long-term search strategy while shipping meaningful improvements

🎯 Requirements

• 2-5 years of professional software engineering experience • Solid understanding of software design principles, system architecture, and modern development practices • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, with willingness to learn new ones • Experience building and maintaining production systems or applications, including debugging and performance optimization • Strong collaboration and communication skills across disciplines and teams • Problem-solving mindset balancing speed, quality, and long-term maintainability • Product-oriented thinking motivated by real customer needs • Curiosity about emerging technologies and enthusiasm for learning • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to improve workflows, streamline execution, or enhance outputs • Fluency in both Polish and English • Willingness to learn Ruby • Nice to have: experience with Ruby / Rails, event-driven architectures, MySQL at scale, or previous work on an internal platform or infrastructure team
