📋 Description

• Build, evolve and operate scalable digital products for customers and internal teams • Work across the full stack throughout the software development lifecycle • Design APIs and develop distributed backend services • Build modern, accessible web interfaces • Own features end to end • Use approved AI-assisted development tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, documentation, code analysis and technical investigation • Review, validate and improve AI-generated output • Build, deploy and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS • Contribute to technical decisions in a collaborative, product-oriented team • Help operate high-traffic digital platforms with focus on performance, reliability and scale

🎯 Requirements

• Practical experience using AI tooling for code generation and refactoring, test creation and automation, documentation generation, code analysis and review, and technical investigation • Ability to review, validate and improve AI-generated output for quality, security and maintainability • Strong commercial experience with Java 17 LTS or above and Spring Boot 3.x • Experience building and operating distributed systems, RESTful APIs and microservices • MySQL 8 schema design, query optimisation and performance tuning • AWS cloud-native application development, deployment and maintenance • Strong commercial experience with JavaScript and TypeScript • Experience building modern web applications with React 18 • Strong understanding of web performance, accessibility and responsive design • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, testing, code quality and maintainable code • Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and modern software delivery approaches • Experience with containerisation technologies • Understanding of infrastructure, monitoring and observability practices • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to contribute effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team • Fluent English, spoken and written • Next.js in production environments preferred • Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms preferred • Apache Kafka or other event-streaming technologies preferred • Modern observability and monitoring tooling preferred • Experience in large-scale digital, retail or eCommerce environments preferred • AWS certifications preferred • Portuguese language skills preferred
