📋 Description

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records across multiple business entities using Xero • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice creation and tracking • Perform regular bank reconciliations and transaction matching • Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll documentation and records • Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements and cash flow summaries • Work closely with the external accounting team and provide supporting documentation or workpapers when required • Ensure financial records are clean, organised, and audit-ready • Monitor and flag anomalies, discrepancies, or potential cash flow concerns proactively • Maintain accurate filing systems and financial documentation • Support ongoing financial process improvements and operational efficiency

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience • Strong hands-on experience using Xero is non-negotiable • Experience managing bookkeeping across multiple entities or companies is highly preferred • Familiarity with Australian accounting practices and business operations • Solid understanding of payroll processing and reconciliation procedures • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills • Strong written and verbal English communication skills • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities proactively • Comfortable collaborating remotely with business owners and external accountants • Reliable, trustworthy, and capable of handling sensitive financial information confidentially • Able to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced business environment
