📋 Description

• Own day-to-day finance operations and maintain accurate, up-to-date transactions and records • Manage accounts payable, supplier invoices, payment processing and multi-currency supplier payments • Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies • Own and support month-end close, including reconciliations, adjustments and supporting schedules • Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, collections and billing processes • Review financial records and identify discrepancies, gaps or unusual transactions • Maintain accurate records in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central • Support finance administration and reporting • Use AI and LLM tools to improve finance-task speed, accuracy and efficiency • Identify manual processes suitable for AI or automation • Experiment with and adopt AI tools in finance workflows • Document processes and contribute process-improvement ideas • Collaborate with the internal team on finance and process-improvement initiatives • Over time, support purchasing and procurement-related processes

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in a Finance Manager, Senior Accountant or similar finance operations role • Strong hands-on experience across accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation and month-end close • Experience with an ERP system such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP, NetSuite, Oracle or similar • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience is highly preferred, particularly supplier payments and multi-currency transactions • Strong understanding of accounting principles and finance processes • Experience managing supplier invoices, payments, reconciliations and financial records • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to investigate discrepancies, identify gaps and resolve issues • Strong organisational and time-management skills • Genuine interest in AI, LLMs and emerging finance technology • Comfortable learning and using Claude, ChatGPT or similar AI platforms • Process-improvement mindset • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment • Shortlisted candidates must complete a practical exercise using Claude • Candidates must disclose existing ongoing roles or client work • Candidates must reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile as “Independent Contractor”
