📋 Description

• Produce high-quality detailed design and Development Approval (DA) drawing packages • Produce detailed construction documentation sets with accurate drawings and specifications ready for regulatory review • Review documentation for compliance with building codes, standards, regulations, and Building Permit requirements • Review and integrate consultant drawings into cohesive documentation sets • Lead construction services by responding to builder RFIs and resolving technical issues • Mentor the wider team and optimize CAD/BIM systems and processes • Prioritize workloads across multiple projects and advise senior staff on capacity • Take accountability for documentation work independently while maintaining high standards • Communicate with clients and contractors, listen to briefs, and adapt as projects evolve

🎯 Requirements

• Philippines-based candidate • Completed a tertiary qualification in Drafting or Building Design • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Architectural Technician, Draftsperson, or related professional • Extensive knowledge of building standards and regulations • Advanced computer literacy • Expertise in CAD/BIM software • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills • Minimum 3 years of Revit experience producing large-scale drawing packages, complex 3D models, and detailed technical drafting • Extensive experience in technical documentation and detailing, with knowledge of building assembly and construction • Ability to develop detailed drawings balancing creative design, practical buildability, and cost indicators • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to translate complex technical requirements to clients and project stakeholders • Methodology-driven problem-solving and ability to analyze issues from multiple viewpoints • Strong organizational skills for managing documentation resourcing and delivery across multiple projects • Ability to align with Australian business hours, approximately 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, Monday to Friday • Disclosure of existing ongoing roles or client work • Reflecting the engagement on LinkedIn as “Independent Contractor” • Australian experience strongly preferred • Rhino3D experience preferred but not mandatory
