📋 Description

• Architect and build core financial infrastructure, including KYC/KYB workflows, ledger systems, and transaction state machines • Design and implement integrations with regulated banking partners, card issuers, and payment rails including ACH, wires, and FX • Develop provider-agnostic systems integrating multiple financial partners without vendor lock-in • Build robust, secure APIs and data models for complex reconciliation and event processing • Manage the full feature-development lifecycle, from database schema design to production deployment and internal compliance tooling • Work directly with founders to translate product goals into scalable technical solutions and engineering standards

🎯 Requirements

• 3–8+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong backend or full-stack fundamentals • Proven track record of building production-grade APIs and distributed systems • Mastery of database design, data modeling, and asynchronous workflows (queues, events, retries, and idempotency) • A high degree of engineering judgment; understanding of when to build for scale and when to optimize for speed • Exceptional ownership mentality and ability to independently take a problem and goal through to completion • Highly hands-on approach with desire to write production code daily in a fast-moving, early-stage environment • Nice-to-have: Direct experience in fintech, neobanking, or payments, specifically ledgers, reconciliation, or money movement • Nice-to-have: Background at high-growth financial technology companies such as Stripe, Adyen, Airwallex, Brex, or similar infrastructure providers • Nice-to-have: Familiarity with KYC/KYB regulatory nuances and international banking infrastructure • Nice-to-have: Experience building multi-currency or FX-heavy platforms
