• Achieve annual revenue, consumables, and growth targets within the assigned territory • Develop and execute strategic business plans to expand Illumina's reproductive and genetic health footprint across India • Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities across hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, fertility centers, genetic testing laboratories, and healthcare institutions • Drive instrument placements, consumable utilization, and recurring revenue growth • Build relationships with clinicians, specialists, geneticists, laboratory directors, and key opinion leaders • Develop and execute demand-generation initiatives to increase awareness and adoption of genomic testing solutions • Organize and support scientific meetings, workshops, CMEs, roundtables, webinars, and educational programs • Collaborate with customers to expand clinical adoption and utilization of genomic testing services • Drive adoption of Illumina sequencing platforms, library preparation solutions, and associated workflows • Support end-to-end genomics workflow implementation from sample preparation through sequencing and analysis • Partner with application and technical teams on customer onboarding and workflow optimization • Promote new products, applications, and workflow innovations • Lead commercialization of new reproductive and genetic health applications and solutions • Identify emerging market opportunities and develop testing-adoption strategies • Establish collaborations with healthcare institutions, laboratory networks, and professional societies • Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback for business planning and portfolio growth • Manage strategic accounts and key stakeholder relationships • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Clinical Applications, Service, Technical Support, and Commercial Operations teams • Work with channel partners and distributors to maximize market coverage and customer success • Maintain opportunity management, forecasting, and CRM documentation
• Master's degree or PhD in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Genomics, or related discipline • Advanced scientific or business degree preferred • 5–10 years of experience in genomics, molecular diagnostics, reproductive health, clinical diagnostics, life sciences, or related healthcare markets • Proven track record in sales, business development, market development, or commercial roles • Experience engaging clinicians, healthcare providers, service providers, and healthcare institutions • Strong understanding of genomics technologies, sequencing workflows, and clinical applications • Commercial acumen and strategic thinking • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities • Ability to translate scientific knowledge into business opportunities • Strong collaboration and cross-functional leadership skills • Customer-focused with a results-driven mindset • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship
