📋 Description

• Structure the NOC function, including the operating model, coverage, on-call schedules, monitoring, and escalation • Define the monitoring and observability strategy from a process perspective • Standardize runbooks, checklists, post-deployment validation procedures, and shift handovers • Monitor production health, including critical services, queues, integrations, jobs, and market opening and closing windows • Assess the current state and implement an ITIL 4-compliant change management (GMUD) process • Create a RACI matrix and standard change catalog • Support process configuration in the Jira Service Management ITSM tool • Act as Incident Manager, coordinating war rooms, communicating status to technical and executive audiences, and leading blameless post-mortems • Structure problem management and link incidents to changes • Define and track metrics such as change success rate, rollback rate, MTTD/MTTR, and SLA compliance • Lead review ceremonies with leadership • Liaise with operations partners and vendors • Document and hand over the process to the company-designated owner

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience designing and implementing ITIL-based change management processes from scratch • Experience working as an Incident Manager or in an equivalent role, leading critical incidents, crisis communications, and post-mortems • Experience structuring or operating NOC, SOC, or Service Management functions, including monitoring, on-call support, and escalation • Experience monitoring production or supporting critical environments • Experience leading CABs and change governance involving multiple departments and vendors • Seniority to work independently with leadership, with strong negotiation skills and the ability to say no when risks are not adequately controlled • Advanced English proficiency (interaction with international partners) • ITIL 4 certification is desirable, particularly Managing Professional or Change Enablement • Experience with NOC/SOC setup projects or transitioning operations to managed service providers is desirable • Experience in financial services, energy, or other regulated environments with audit requirements is desirable • Knowledge of ITSM tools (Jira Service Management, ServiceNow) and monitoring and alerting tools is desirable • Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, or COBIT is desirable • Understanding of SRE and CI/CD pipelines sufficient to communicate with engineering teams is desirable • Experience working as a service provider or consultant is desirable
