📋 Description

• Design, model, and maintain complex data structures across MS SQL Server and MongoDB • Resolve data quality issues • Write complex queries and develop stored procedures • Perform indexing and query performance tuning • Execute automated pipeline deployments and migrate schemas into production • Apply agile methods and continuous delivery concepts • Build and maintain secure, high-performing data pipelines and APIs using REST and JSON • Drive test strategies and test automation • Ship, maintain, and troubleshoot production software products • Collaborate with diverse teams on international client projects • Participate in ceremonies, stand-ups, and collaborative sessions aligned with Central Time

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Computer Science • Minimum of 5+ years of experience delivering production solutions • Minimum of 5+ years working in Data Science or Data Engineering • Strong production experience with MS SQL Server, including schema design, complex query writing, stored procedure development, indexing, and query performance tuning • Hands-on MongoDB experience, including document modeling and integrating NoSQL systems with relational databases • Experience modeling data across diverse systems, analyzing schemas, and resolving data quality issues • Experience with Git/GitHub and automated pipeline deployment • Experience with database modeling, pipelines, and APIs, including security, testing, performance, JSON, and REST • Passion for shipping and maintaining production software products • Strong verbal and written communication skills for daily technical collaboration and documentation • Fluent English • Consistent overlap with Central Time (CT) and availability during standard Austin business hours • Preferred: experience with Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric • Preferred: working proficiency in Python • Preferred: experience with data quality frameworks, test strategy, and test automation
