📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and student success across Explorer, Researcher, and Innovator 1:1 Online Research Mentorship programs • Oversee Mentor Operations Lead and Junior Operations Coordinator • Supervise mentor lifecycle execution, KPI tracking, performance reviews, recertification, capacity forecasting, and escalation reduction • Direct mentor allocations, turnaround targets, administrative SOPs, database accuracy, and student progress follow-ups • Align mentor management systems and allocation pipelines with program outcomes • Manage bespoke student journeys ranging from 12 to 50+ weeks • Track multi-milestone research deliverables and maintain parent/family communications • Facilitate academic credits and support publication and competition submissions • Implement a 5-star outcome plan and increase student success rates • Serve as primary escalation contact for student, family, and mentor conflicts • Design escalation tracking, analysis, intervention, and prediction systems • Review mentor KPIs and performance reviews, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement • Provide operational guidelines and Checkpoint System tracking • Convene Academic and Scientific Review Committees with Indigo staff • Monitor student progress through dashboards with Operations Lead, Student Success, and Indigo Ops teams • Analyze operational data and NPS to identify service gaps and implement scalable automated workflows • Maintain integration with Student Success Teams and Crimson Education stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in education, mentoring, academic coaching, or youth development organizations • At least 2 years of experience directly overseeing teams • Familiarity with high school research, academic writing, citation standards, and the journal publication process • Knowledge of international education systems and US/UK college admissions, including Common App and STEM supplements • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and learning systems/CRM tools • Ability to mentor, guide, and hold operational staff accountable to performance metrics • Highly organized, with exceptional ability to manage asynchronous workflows across diverse time zones • Advanced English proficiency • High-empathy, client-centric mindset for interacting with high-achieving students and families • Ability to resolve cross-cultural and communication challenges • Capability to identify needed KPIs, track them, spot engagement drop-offs, and execute timely interventions
