📋 Description

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Database instances supporting IFS implementations • Perform Oracle Database patching, including PSU, RU, and one-off patches • Plan and execute Oracle Database upgrades • Configure and manage RMAN backup and recovery • Perform planned and incident-driven database restore and recovery activities • Work with Oracle Database on Windows and Linux platforms • Support database migrations between production, test, and development environments • Monitor database health, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve performance issues • Optimize SQL queries and support performance tuning • Adjust Oracle database parameters for performance and stability • Provide database-level technical support for IFS Applications and IFS Cloud • Create and manage users and roles in IFS • Support IFS upgrades, deployments, and integrations from a database perspective • Collaborate with IFS consultants, middleware, and infrastructure teams • Support on-premise and cloud-based Oracle environments

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Database and IFS Cloud • Practical experience with Oracle Database installation and configuration • Experience with Oracle Database patching, including PSU, RU, and one-off patches • Experience with Oracle Database version upgrades, such as 12c to 19c • Hands-on experience with RMAN backup and recovery, including restores and environment rebuilds • Experience supporting database migrations between PROD and TEST/DEV environments • Experience in SQL performance tuning and query optimization • Experience adjusting Oracle database parameters for performance and stability • Experience supporting enterprise applications from a database perspective • Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux platforms for Oracle Database • Understanding of production environments, system stability, and operational responsibility • Confident English communication in an international project environment • Hands-on technical practitioner with structured, reliable, and proactive working style • Ability to take ownership of the relevant area
