📋 Description

• Track and report on project profitability • Collaborate with project teams, clients, and internal departments to support financial performance and high-quality clinical research project management services • Review client agreements and convert them into Innovaderm internal cost structures • Create and configure projects in project management and financial systems • Prepare and upload project budgets and amendments affecting scope or timeline • Identify and price out-of-scope services • Recognize revenue and expenses according to Canadian GAAP and contractual requirements • Create journal entries for accruals and project allocations • Review actual project revenues and costs against budget and forecast, identifying variances and causes • Prepare and present project financial reports, including profit and loss statements, financial projections, accrual reports, and invoicing status • Monitor project balance sheet accounts and maintain accurate financial records • Review project invoicing and provide expertise as needed • Ensure all study invoices are produced and paid at study close • Act as the main client contact for invoicing questions • Work closely with project managers to understand requirements and financial implications • Provide financial guidance and support to manage budgets and control costs • Facilitate financial review meetings with project managers and clients • Support internal and external audits with financial documentation • Identify process enhancements and contribute to improved financial processes and tools • Perform other assigned responsibilities when qualified and adequately trained

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field • CPA certification, an asset • Minimum of 4 years of experience in project accounting • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English • Professional judgment and proven interpersonal skills • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail • Critical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines • Proficiency with financial management tools and office software, including Excel, Power BI, and ERP • Comfortable working in an environment in constant evolution • Must be legally able to work in Argentina
