📋 Description

• Provide leadership and oversight to Project Coordination teams • Work with relevant cross-functional leaders to improve and enforce adoption of processes, workflows, and responsibility matrices • Provide line management for functional-area staff in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations • Oversee training of new employees • Participate in hiring activities • Manage performance, guide professional development, address employee relations issues, and escalate issues as necessary • Guide the department on best practices and efficient site start-up, user access management, project-specific training management, and routine Project Coordination activities • Ensure Project Coordination efficiency, adherence to project timelines and financial goals, and identification of out-of-scope activities for change orders • Interview, hire, onboard, mentor, coach, and manage performance of Project Coordination resources • Ensure continuous training and alignment through use of process and technology tools • Monitor, analyze, and act on department KPIs • Work with Project and Quality Management to ensure appropriate quality standards • Identify process improvements and efficiencies, including CTMS records maintenance, site activation, user access management, and project-specific training management • Develop new or improve existing department systems, SOPs, and processes • Serve as a subject matter expert for relevant systems and processes when applicable

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor in science or an Advanced Degree preferred • 3-5 years experience in clinical research or biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and/or CRO industry • Excellent oral and written English skills • Strong leadership skills and proactive communication • Ability to build, engage and energize the team and set high performance expectations • Supervisory or line management experience is an asset • Demonstrated knowledge of site selection, site contracting, site activation, and site readiness interdependencies • Demonstrated experience leading teams and working with cross functional teams • Demonstrated experience with site activation responsibilities • Excellent knowledge and competency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Ability to prioritize different assignments and work under pressure • Good negotiating and communication skills with ability to challenge • Ability to exercise independent judgment taking calculated risks when making decisions • Good leadership skills, with ability to motivate, coach and mentor • Understanding of study financial management • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and sponsors • Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills • Good knowledge of good clinical practices and international regulations/guidelines • Must be legally able to work in Europe
