📋 Description

• Review and edit texts produced by the team, ensuring clarity, coherence, and alignment with each portal’s tone of voice • Ensure the grammatical, spelling, and stylistic accuracy of Italian content, taking relevant regional variations into account • Fact-check information and ensure textual consistency • Suggest structural and editorial improvements based on performance metrics, team feedback, and project objectives • Recommend adjustments to articles, pages, and other written materials • Collaborate on editorial planning, contributing to the organization, standardization, and best practices for digital content • Manage the review workflow independently while meeting deadlines • Serve as the final quality check before content is published on Beside Media’s Italian-language portals

🎯 Requirements

• Native or equivalent proficiency in Italian • Strong command of Italian grammar, spelling, syntax, and style for digital contexts • Previous experience proofreading and editing digital content, including blogs, websites, articles, and corporate content • Ability to interpret and apply style guides and internal editorial guidelines • 100% manual proofreading • Familiarity with SEO and web content best practices • Fluency in English is an important plus for international materials • Experience with content portals serving Italian-speaking markets • Experience working in high-volume editorial environments • Knowledge of WordPress and content management tools • Experience with Google Workspace and collaboration tools such as Notion, Trello, and Monday • Ability to provide writers with structured editorial feedback
