📋 Description

• Lead the Financial Reporting team building and maintaining mission-critical reports and dashboards for Fortune 500 financial enterprises • Own end-to-end delivery of Reporting and BI features from technical design through sprint execution to production • Drive architecture decisions for scalable, high-performance dashboards using Oracle, BI tools, Azure, and .NET/C# • Create proofs of concept, review pull requests, and contribute code to complex technical work • Champion and coach AI-first development practices using GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or equivalent tools • Shape the technical roadmap with Product while maintaining long-term architectural health • Conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, and growth conversations • Enforce code quality gates, branch policies, code freeze discipline, and release management protocols • Lead code reviews and architecture discussions to improve team technical capability • Translate complex data reporting requirements into clean, maintainable, production-ready software • Partner with Product, QA, DevOps, and Customer Success to deliver dependable enterprise releases

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent demonstrated engineering depth • 10+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing enterprise SaaS backend applications with deep understanding of databases • 2+ years of engineering team management experience with a proven record of growing senior engineers and retaining high performers • Architect/Principal Engineer-level expertise in relational databases, especially Oracle PL/SQL • Experience with complex query optimization, stored procedures, performance tuning, and large-scale data handling • Very strong command of SQL and data modelling • Development-side Reporting/BI experience with Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar • Demonstrated day-to-day use of AI developer tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor, with ability to coach teams on maximizing their impact • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs using .NET/C# in distributed, enterprise-scale systems • Solid grounding in Agile/Scrum delivery, sprint discipline, backlog ownership, and release management rigor • Strong proficiency with Git, branching strategies, and CI/CD practices • Exceptional written and verbal communication • Financial domain application experience in FinTech or equity management is a significant plus • Azure Cloud experience is a plus • Background check required where permitted by country, state/province
