• Build a detailed understanding of Australia’s insurance and workers’ compensation ecosystem, including participants, incentives, funding flows, buyers and decision-makers • Understand how psychological-injury services are procured, delivered and monetised, and identify underperforming models • Identify and prioritise jurisdictions, customer segments, use cases and opportunities where Intellect can create clinical and commercial value • Assess market size, competition, buying processes, regulatory considerations and adoption barriers • Translate market insight into a focused development strategy and staged commercial roadmap • Identify unmet customer and claimant needs and develop differentiated products, services and propositions • Collaborate with product, clinical, operations, commercial and other teams to develop viable solutions • Build strategic, financial and operating cases for priority opportunities • Develop pricing, contracting, funding and delivery models • Validate propositions with insurers, employers, scheme participants, partners and other stakeholders • Define clinical, operational and commercial outcomes that demonstrate value • Map buyers, budget owners, procurement routes and decision-making processes • Build and manage a qualified pipeline of commercial opportunities • Lead customer discovery and co-design conversations • Own opportunities from initial engagement through proposition development, proposals, negotiation, pilots and commercial agreements • Work with Partnerships and commercial teams while remaining accountable for market progress and conversion • Track pipeline quality, conversion, expected revenue and time to close • Convert priority opportunities into paid engagements generating revenue, evidence and referenceable outcomes • Develop relationships with senior stakeholders across insurers, workers’ compensation schemes, employers, brokers, claims-service providers, healthcare providers and other organisations • Represent Intellect in senior customer and ecosystem conversations • Identify and structure strategic partnerships • Move opportunities from concept into pilots, programmes and commercial engagements • Shape the combination of existing capabilities, targeted hiring and strategic partners for scaled delivery • Define the operating model across clinical delivery, provider coverage, service operations, technology, data, reporting, customer management and governance • Account for clinical, regulatory and jurisdiction-specific requirements • Coordinate commercial, product, clinical, operations, legal, finance and technology teams • Track clinical, operational and commercial outcomes and establish repeatable playbooks • Develop a staged capability roadmap aligned with validated demand and commercial progress
• Approximately 5–12 years of relevant experience across management consulting, insurance, workers’ compensation, claims, healthcare, occupational health, market development or commercial strategy • Meaningful experience across Australia’s insurance, workers’ compensation or adjacent healthcare ecosystem, or experience building new propositions, partnerships, capabilities or areas of business • Strong understanding of the relevant ecosystem, or clear evidence of ability to develop that depth rapidly • Demonstrated ability to build from ambiguity, moving from problem definition and strategy through to commercialisation and implementation • Understanding of how complex services are bought, funded and delivered, including stakeholders influencing commercial decisions • Experience originating and advancing complex B2B or B2B2C opportunities, developing propositions, navigating multiple stakeholders and securing commercial commitment • Strong strategic and commercial judgement • Ability to structure complex problems, conduct rigorous analysis and translate insight into clear priorities and action • Ability to develop new propositions and commercial models • Credibility with senior external stakeholders and ability to build trusted relationships across a complex ecosystem • Ability to move from market strategy into detailed implementation and remain accountable for commercial and operating outcomes • Understanding that successful market development requires strong internal delivery capabilities • Ability to work effectively across product, clinical, commercial, operational and technical teams without relying solely on formal authority • High standards, low ego, sound judgement and willingness to work through operational detail • Experience in mental health, psychological injury, injury management, occupational rehabilitation, employee benefits or digital health is helpful
