📋 Description

• Design, build, and scale distributed backend systems for financial and mission-critical workloads • Develop and maintain clean, secure, high-quality Ruby code • Work with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases • Apply data modeling, transactional consistency, and high-throughput architecture principles • Leverage NoSQL and caching solutions to optimize performance and scalability • Collaborate with Product, Finance, Risk, and Platform teams • Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and best-practice initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience • Proven ability to build and scale distributed systems • Deep expertise in data modeling, transaction management, and system performance optimization • Strong hands-on experience with SQL databases, including MySQL and PostgreSQL • Familiarity with NoSQL and caching technologies • Excellent coding skills in Ruby • Knowledge of code clarity, maintainability, and security best practices • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Experience working cross-functionally across multiple teams • Nice to have: experience in financial services, fintech, or highly regulated industries • Nice to have: familiarity with microservices and cloud-native architectures • Nice to have: exposure to monitoring, observability, and DevOps tools
