• Maximize utilization of installed da Vinci® Surgical Systems • Work with the da Vinci Clinical Sales Manager to develop local-market sales plans • Become a clinical expert across primary operating-room procedures • Partner with senior hospital staff and key surgeons to integrate da Vinci® systems at new customer sites • Develop surgery plans for surgical teams to achieve independent system use • Drive system utilization by reviewing and selecting appropriate cases with surgical teams • Expand the user base and develop a qualified lead funnel with hospital staff and thought leaders • Deliver formal presentations, informal events, and get-togethers • Convert high-potential leads and drive training activities • Sell instruments and accessories through new product introductions and solution selling • Manage administrative tasks, including sales/procedure reporting, sales-activity outcomes, and expense reports
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required • Minimum of 4 years of sales experience, including 2 or more years in healthcare sales • Strong sales experience, preferably with a surgical device company • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to travel and/or be present in the field up to 70%, depending on business needs • Fluent in English and French • Experience introducing new technologies to the market is a plus • Knowledge of the Operating Room environment preferred • A clinical foundation to grow from is preferred
