📋 Description

• This opportunity is within the field of Industrial Property, specifically in the legal protection of inventions, drafting and prosecution of patent and utility model applications, as well as strategic analysis of technological assets. • We are seeking a Patent Engineer capable of understanding highly complex technical inventions, identifying their distinguishing features, and converting them into clear, robust, and legally protected industrial property rights. • The desired candidate will be responsible for drafting patent applications, engaging technically with inventors and clients, preparing responses to office actions issued by intellectual property offices, conducting prior art searches, and issuing technical opinions on patentability and freedom-to-operate for specific technologies.

🎯 Requirements

• Patent Engineer with a university degree in Engineering and the ability to translate complex technical information into legally structured patent documentation. • Degree in at least one of the following engineering disciplines: Electrical Engineering; Computer and Information Engineering; Control and Automation Engineering; Electronic and Computer Engineering; or other Engineering degrees with a strong emphasis on technology, software, telecommunications, electronics, energy, automation, or complex systems. • Ability to identify the essential technical features of an invention and draft a set of claims broad enough to maximize protection while remaining within the bounds of the disclosed subject matter. • Strong research skills, critical analysis, documentary rigor, and attention to detail. • Clear and structured communication with inventors, clients, examiners, representatives, and multidisciplinary teams. • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, official deadlines, and technical priorities while maintaining high quality and reliability. • Proficiency in English, particularly in the analysis and production of technical and legal documentation. • Demonstrated ongoing interest in innovation, science, technology, and the strategic protection of knowledge.
